Il futuro dei Cranberries nelle parole di Noel, Mike e Fergal!!!

Proprio in questi giorni, ad un mese esatto dalla scomparsa di Dolores, è comparso nella pagina facebook del gruppo un messaggio degli altri membri della band.

A few words from Noel, Mike & Ferg. "Firstly we would like to thank everyone for their support and kind words over the past few weeks. As you can imagine this has been a very sad and difficult time, not only for us, but also for Dolores' family. Reading though the messages you all sent has been amazing. To see how much of a positive impact Dolores had on people's lives is so lovely and gives some comfort at this very difficult time. A lot of people have been asking what does the future hold for the band?
We have been discussing this over the past few days. Over the past few months, the writing process for a new Cranberries album had begun with a lot of new songs already quite well developed. Dolores had already recorded vocals on these tracks so we have decided to finish them as it is what she would have wanted. We don't know how many tracks will make the final album right now but it was Dolores' wish that we complete the recording of the album and release it so we going to do just that in the coming months.
As well as finishing the new album there are a few more Cranberries projects that were already underway. We will look at each as time permits.
Again, thank you all for your support. We will try our best to keep you all up to date on things as they unfold."

Alcune parole di Noel, Mike & Ferg. "Innanzitutto vorremmo ringraziare tutti per il supporto e le parole gentili delle scorse settimane. Come potete immaginare, questo è stato un periodo molto triste e difficile, non solo per noi, ma anche per la famiglia di Dolores. Leggendo però i messaggi che tutti voi avete inviato è stato fantastico. Vedere quanto Dolores ha avuto un impatto positivo sulla vita delle persone è così bello e da' un po' di conforto in questo momento molto difficile. Molte persone hanno chiesto cosa riserva il futuro per la band? Ne abbiamo discusso negli ultimi giorni. Negli ultimi mesi, il processo di realizzazione di un nuovo album dei Cranberries era iniziato con molte nuove canzoni già abbastanza ben sviluppate. Dolores aveva già registrato delle parti vocali su queste tracce, quindi abbiamo deciso di finirle perché è quello che lei avrebbe voluto. Non sappiamo quante tracce saranno inserite in questo nuovo album in questo momento, ma Dolores avrebbe voluto che completassimo la registrazione dell'album e lo pubblicassimo, quindi faremo proprio questo nei prossimi mesi.
Oltre a finire il nuovo album ci sono altri progetti per i Cranberries che erano già in corso. Guarderemo a ciascuno come il tempo ci consentirà.
Ancora una volta, grazie a tutti per il vostro supporto. Faremo del nostro meglio per tenervi aggiornati sulle svolgimento delle cose".

Un bellissimo messaggio che attendevamo e che siamo sicuri non sarà deluso... facciamo i nostri auguri ai tre Cranberries per la realizzazione di un album che possa ancora una volta dimostrare la loro bravura e dare così a tutti ancora la possibilità di ascoltare la fantastica voce di Dolores...
